Battlefield 4 cuts off the screen as soon as the round ends, blocking the chat box. A LOT of games right now support this resolution in game, but the menus will be in 1920 x 1080, so you will get black bars on the side during the menu screens.

Laughably, you can simply select Full Screen Windowed and it works in 2560 x 1080. Developers made a big deal about it being cheating somehow. Overall Review: - Diablo III - does not support 2560 x1080 in full screen. This is a common problem with LCD screens and not something I even notice except when the screen goes completely blank, but it drives some people mad so I thought I would mention it. Light bleeding from the bottom corners. Not really anything that the monitor does, but something to be aware of. 2560 x 1080 support is sometimes lacking. You had to unplug everything, and then only plug in the power cord, turn it on, and then plug in the DP cord. Fantastic panel with great viewing angles.Ĭons: - First one I bought would not turn on. Great color reproduction (Although you may have to set it up, mine was almost perfect from the factory.) Pros: - Wider than widescreen gaming without having to use more than one monitor.

Feel free to look around online for some expert, in-depth reviews discussing the cailbration, etc. I had absolutely no issues with my unit and am very happy with my purchase. Now as of today's date that I'm writing this Newegg is shipping the A4 release. From what I've read online it wasn't until the "third time's the charm" A3 release that everybody was pretty happy with what they received. While it fixed some problems, it added others. The second version, A2, was released a few months later in order to improve upon some of the widely complained off issues. Overall Review: If you've done any internet research, you'd see that when this monitor first came out it had a lot of quality control issues. If you like eye-candy then get a higher-end video card to go with this. Requires a decent mid-range video card for any modern 3D shooters to be remotely playable. Doesn't include a DP to DP cable (just a mini-DP to DP). Heartily recommended.Ĭons: Brightness at 50% (the out of the box default) is WAY too bright for my basement desktop space. Color, contrast, image quality all excellent for my needs out of the box.
Pros: As of the date I write this review Newegg is shipping out A4 revisions of this monitor (this is good). Monitor, Stand, Cable Cover, Power Cable (varies by country), mDP-DP Cable, HDMI (MHL) cable, USB 3.0 Upstream Cable, Divers and Documentation Media (CD), Quick Setup Guide, Safety and Regulatory Information, Factory Calibration ReportĪdditional Information Date First Available
